Well, I've spent the last few days camping with my sister (Erika), her huband(John), and her kids (Jake and Abbey). It was an alright trip, we went canoeing, go-carting, miniature golfing, all that junk. Best part had to be on Wednesday. This was the day of the True Colors tour, which included The Cliks, The Dresdon Dolls, Debbie Harry, Erasure, and Cyndi Lauper. It was an incredible concert, the music was awesome and so was the sense of a community. The majority of people there were queer and there were many straight supporters as well. It was nice to not feel out of place. The high point of the concert was no doubt at intermission. This is because I got to meet the Dresdon Dolls and they signed my true colors t-shirt. It was fantastic! All the musicians were unbelievable and I enjoyed every moment of it.
