Well I don't know if y'all have heard but Bush has made his nomination for Surgeon General. His name is Dr. Holsinger and he has no right to be the nations top medical officer. This man has declared sexual orientation to be a life style choice and has said homosexuality can be cured, among other gems. He and his wife are the founders of Hope Springs Community Church, which apparently "cures" people of their homosexuality. Obviously Dr. Holsinger needs to be kept away from the position as surgeon general. You can go to http://www.hrcactioncenter.org/campaign/stop_holsinger to write to your Senators to tell them to vote no on Holsinger's nomination.
This is just sickening, it's just yet another example of how Bush nominates people who are either unqualified or who just help Bush's personal agenda. It's particularly disturbing when you consider the fact that this isn't just any ol' position, this is surgeon general. This person will be the top medical official in America, and we don't need some bigot letting his anti-gay ideology bleed into his work. Hopefully Holsinger wont get the position and someone deserving will get it. Well that's all, night y'all.

That is complete bullshit. I don't think anyone should be put in such an important position if their personal beliefs - which is complete bigotry b.s. - will taint their work for America. I don't want anyone trying to fucking cure my homosexuality. And who knows, maybe he'll try and start another stupid medical genecide. COMPLETE B.S.
